Our history
In the 1940s, James Richardson began work repairing and cleaning chimneys destroyed in Clydebank during the 'Blitz'. He is a founder member and past Chairman of The National Association of Chimney Sweeps and Jimmy helped guide the association's development.
The family connection is continued by his son in law Gordon McKinlay.
He has many years' experience carrying out assessments of new sweeps in Scotland ensuring standards in the industry are maintained and improved.
Richardsons chimney sweeps have undergone the appropriate training to carry out their work in a competent and safe manner.
